Naples, and the its cuisine is inimitable. The pastas, pizzas, fresh seafood, the Neapolitan buffalo mozzarella, everything is different there than in other provinces. For this reason, the raw materials are arriving from there two times every week into the kitchen of Tommy di Napoli. The seafood is coming from Venice, the mozzarella and flour from Naples, and we have to mention the special tomato too, that is grown at the foot of the Vesuvius.
Introduction
When we decided to open Tommy di Napoli, we had clear visions, what we would like to achieve with it. We knew that we want to give something different, something extraordinary to our guests, than the other Italian restaurants in Budapest do. That is why we chose to serve authentic Italian – more precisely – Neapolitan dishes, thats ingredients are coming directly from Italy. We have never wanted to position ourselves as a „Fine Dining” restaurant, rather we wanted to evoke the feeling of a friendly, lively, and cheerful Neapolitan trattoria in Budapest.
